When it Comes to Pain, We've Got Your Back!

More than 80% of adults in North America will experience back pain in their lives. If you've tried it all and still haven't found relief, try chiropractic care!

The chiropractic doctor is unique in the health care field in that much of the training in chiropractic colleges is specifically aimed at identifying and successfully treating and managing lower back conditions.

The Treatment

Here at Premier, our team will create an individualized treatment plan for your back pain, including:

  • Chiropractic Adjustments
  • Manual Therapy
  • Stabilization and Strengthening Exercises
  • Therapies and Modalities

The Spinal Adjustment

The main treatment employed by the chiropractor is the chiropractic spinal adjustment. This noninvasive therapy consists of a gentle, manually or mechanically applied force into the segments of the spinal column. Spinal adjustments have been shown to decrease pain, increase spinal range of motion, decrease muscle spasm, reduce inflammation, optimize spinal biomechanics, and reduce the recurrence of old injuries. Manual Therapy

The Doctor will often utilize various manual techniques, including pin-and-stretch, soft tissue work, myofascial decompression or cupping, IASTM/FAKTR, + more. Our Doctor and Massage Therapist will assess tissues for restrictions, adhesions, and limited range of motion. The practitioner will then apply pressure to certain muscles and tissues, alleviating pain and releasing soft tissue adhesions.

Stabilization and Strengthening Exercises

Back pain is often associated with low lumbar and core muscle tone. Because of this, your chiropractor will often implement strenghthening and stabilizing exercises in your treatment plan. We aim to treat the cause of your pain, eliminating it at the source.
